positive.

"Things will get better."

A glass cup shatters as it hits the ground,

and all of a sudden you think you've been saved.

map the soul

"So many songs, on a daily basis, flood the ears of the public with titillating words like 'seduction' and 'sexy'. Before writing the lyrics to "map the soul' we made a short list of the words that are getting increasingly difficult to hear in this time and age. Words we would like to hear more often on the radio...

Dying words: soul, eternity, destiny, gratitude, sincerity, peace, inspiration, faith, passion, beauty, music
......"

- Tablo/Epik High

we started off as perfect strangers
boy meets girl, infatuation to love
now you're my whole entire world
destiny taps me on the back -- saying hello
but really it was your touch
no and i'll never let you go
then you spoke i never heard a voice so sweet
heavenly
and from her words man i knew this girl was deep
just like me
with times to worry and times to play
we'll sit and stress over life or just burn the day away

this generation

I'm going to pause for a moment and tell you about my day.

In all honestly, I refuse to read another blogspot about the day of some pampered, rich westernized girl who does nothing except write out the television shows she's watched or the food she's eaten. Years later, you won't what you wore on this day or what you bought on that. Grow some backbone and read more literature.

Honestly, my generation has become so spoiled. Their lives so empty and futile. Most have not experienced any tragedy short of a breakup. I almost pity them.

extinction

Humans have killed off hundreds of thousands of species. We are the cause of the 6th biggest extinction period, following the extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. More information here.

The fact that we, knowingly or unknowingly, destroyed thousands of habitats seem to be of no importance to the general populace. But still, wouldn't it be remarkable if the following animals did exist today?

The Quagga

A mix between a zebra and a horse. Overhunted by hunters and poachers.
Extinct since 1883.

The Dodo

A flightless bird that lived on the island of Mauritius. Overhunted.
Extinct since the 17th century.

The Tasmanian Tiger

The largest carnivorous marsupial, neither dog nor cat, closest relative being the Tasmanian Devil. Overhunted.
Extinct since 1936.

What animals alive today will be part of the list in 50 years?

If the extinction of these species was no big deal to humanity, doesn't that mean our own extinction will be just as little of a loss to whatever comes after?

We are so fearful when it comes to thinking humankind will be wiped out.
Yet it never bothers people to think what we've done.

"caged in."

American society has made us believe we are free when really, there are barriers to everything we do. Confined to only one belief. We are all living lifelessly.

Can we appreciate beauty? Do we even bother to anymore?

introductions. ♥

I think everyone wants to be heard,
that's why we write down our thoughts & dreams
on a public place like the internet. Hoping
that one day someone will find us.

I want your love | and I want your revenge | I want your love | I don't wanna be friends

Want your bad romance.
